The Sunday Times Red C poll (published yesterday July 27th) confirms what the Socialist Party has been saying since the June referendum, that is that a re-run of the the poll on the so-called Lisbon Treaty would result in an even greater majority of the public voting against.

Sarkozy lives on planet Zog!
July 16, 2008French President Nicolas Sarkozy truly lives on another planet. He believes, like Ireland’s Fianna Fail, Fine Gael and Labour political establishment, that the Lisbon Treaty can be somehow re-packaged and put, for a second time, to the Irish public in a “new” referendum.

This infamous assault on Balbriggan was carried out as a reprisal for the alleged killing of an R.I.C officer by the I.R.A. earlier in the evening, as the unfortunate policeman left a local pub.

Bin Taxes – Drogheda’s political users & abusers
July 3, 2008The more clued-in sections of the public were sickened by the hypocritical chorus of condemnation from Drogheda’s local Fianna Fail and Fine Gael political representatives following the announcement by the Panda private refuse collection company that they were to “do away with” their tag charging system, thereby increasing significantly (by stealth) refuse charges to a significant section of their customer base.
